The Aim of The  Epilepsy Project is to ease the Isolation that people with Epilepsy and their carer's can and do suffer and to do this by raising awareness of the Issues that people with Epilepsy face on a daily basis.

At present we have five groups: The Art Group: The Epilepsy Arts Group ( LEAP ) has now been running for four years. One of the aims of LEAP is to be a model for other small groups, and we hope to develop this aspect of our work in the future.

The Gardening Group: The aims of the Group is to raise awareness of Epilepsy in the local community and to provide a practical opportunity for work experience.

The Activity Group: The Activity group has enjoyed visits to the London Eye, the London Aquarium, a Thames River Boat Ride to Greenwich, a day trip to Chichester, a guided tour of the Houses of Parliament and enjoyed eating out on a number of occasions.

The I.T. Group  The aim of this group is to teach people basic computor skills in their own homes.  This course lasts for 10 weeks and enables people to become familiar with a laptop computor and to surf the net.  They can if they wish give a donation of their choice to the charity for this course.

Depression Group    This group is for people who have Epilepsy who also suffer bouts of Depression, this group meets monthly and the aim is to give support and allow people to share feelings,  what is said in the group is strictly confidential.
